it would mean God was defeated by his creatures. That is by the hands of those who crucified Him.

Snowball, I've read about Islam. I think you are all zealous, sincere people who believe a lie.
Guess Jesus was a liar according to what you wrote, because He did say He was equal to God. He said He who sees me, sees the Father, I and the Father are one.

Hi Daisymae, I am Muslim, and we absolutely believe and accept Jesus. Jesus lived, performed miarcles, and was truly a man of God and we love him. But Jesus was not God--and most importantly, Jesus was not crucified and his "blood" does not wash away any of our sins. We are all responsible for our own actions, and we are all responsible for our own sins--Jesus blood does not wash away our sins or wash away all that we have done that is wrong. Believing in Jesus will not stop any of us being responsible for our sins and actions. The whole cricification and blood washing away our sins concept is a simply a myth. But what will wash away our sins is prayer, doing good deeds, helping others, and most importanly--asking God for forgiveness. God says he forgives "again and again"--so God is very Merciful..Jesus is very real--but he was a Prophet of God--just like Moses was. Yes Jesus performed Miarcles--but that was through Gods will. Moses performed a great miracle too when he parted the Red Sea. Those were all through Gods will. Daisymae, I've been Muslim for 30 years--my whole life-and my grandmothers are Christian women--and so I understand Christianity very well. As far you thinking that God was "defeated", God can never be defeated, tricked, bamboozled in any way, shape or form--he will always win. Those who attempted to hurt Jesus--I hope God shows them Mercy; but now that they are dead and they are with God--and who do you think is on control of their fate now?

Please read a short list of what Muslims believe in the link below:

EDIT-----------------------------------------_____________
PS/ I was just sincerely trying to help you understand, since you are the one who posted the question. You have the right to believe the falsehood that Jesus is God and he died for your sins--even though Jesus clearly said "I can of my own--do Nothing"...As far as you thinking we are zealots--then that shows how much you have not studied about Islam, and you saying that gives a poor image of many true Christians who do have a great respect for our religion. But to you be your way--and to me mine--so Peace.

Are you a good person? What a question, most of us believe that we are good people because we can look around and find someone that is far worse than we are. We can always point to the things that we think make us a good person.

But how good are we really? Dare we take this test and look at ourselves and see if we really are good? Hmmm.

If you are willing try this and see just how good a person you are.

The Good Person Test.

How will you do? Pass or fail?

Have you ever told a lie?
Doesn't matter how big or small, just a lie.
What does that make you? Before answering think about this, if I told you a lie what would you call me? A liar?

Have you ever stolen anything? Cost doesn't matter, a piece of gum, failed to give back an ink pen that you borrowed, anything.
What does that make you?

Jesus said, "You know the saying of old, you shall not commit adultery but I say that if look at someone to lust after them you have committed adultery in your heart.
Have you ever lusted?

Jesus said that hate is equal to murder.
Have you ever hated anyone?

See one day we all are going to stand before a Holy God on Judgment Day and he is going to judge us based on His Holy Law, the Ten Commandments. These are just 4 of them and how did you do? Guilty? I have broken all of these and more, what about you? How well will you do on Judgment Day?

If we break just one point of God's Law we are guilty of breaking all the law and Gods Wrath abides upon us all. Based on God's Law we are all guilty and all are deserving of punishment. But there is an out for us.

Jesus paid the price for each one of us, took on himself God's Wrath so we wouldn't have to face it on our own. Jesus was beaten, battered, bleed and died so we wouldn't have to face God's Wrath. He rose again so that we would life in his presence. Our crimes, His payment.

The real question is where will you stand on Judgment Day. Pay yourself or have it paid for you. Think about it.

Because
1- We are God's creautures, Worshippers and slaves, not sons.
2- Jesus was a prophet, and he prayed for protection, and he got it.
3- God can forgive sins in a blink of an eye, he doesn't need to die (It's impossible for God to die, and disrespectful to say so)

When are you Christians going to wake up and realize that God wants you to stop pushing your particular beliefs down peoples throats and start to love your brother and sisters? I think God may have a hard time deciding which side to put you if you dont stop spreading hate and looking like you have a screw loose.

is it true that people like you don't know that we worship the same god who created all of us, but we believe that Jesus is the messenger of god and we love him and respect him , and we don't believe Jesus was crucified to save people who sill do sins till today, and we don't believe that god will torture a prophet that he loved so much to save you ? not because he was defeated it seams you watch so many kong fu movies.

Jesus is NOT God,he is an apostle like Moses,Muhammad and all others (pbut),yet he didn't die on the cross because God saved him from death.

003.055 Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute. (QURAN)

NOTE:Christians of our time are not Jesus' followers,Muslims are.

i don't blv that jesus died for my sins because i don't blv he died at all!!!!!!

i don't get how a prophet dying for my sins would somehow be greater than him not dying at all but being raised into heaven by God. isn't the latter more befitting?
