Just treat her daughter with the love and respect she deserves .Don't even try to impress her, just show her by the way you act and talk that you are sincere about your love for her daughter. She will get more from that honesty than trying to artificially impressing her, because she will see through that , and have even less trust in you than before.

be yourself and whatever you do be sincere .if there are other brother and sister in law don't try to show that you always want to impressed your mother-in -law if you are a boy take care of her daughter and if you're a girl take care of his son that will do the thing.

hi u should have 2 impress ur mother-in-law it ant right because u have da right just 2 b ur self u don`t need 2 impress ur mother-in-law because it ant right wel i don`t think it is . just act like ur self and if ur mother-in-law does not like it then it is up 2 her just b ur self

You can impress her by going to counseling to discover what it is inside you that makes you want to impress everyone.

You mean your other mother... it was easy to get to know your mom take the time to get to know your better-half's mom as well. She'll be dripping in jewels ....make sure the are not fake ;)

impress or get her approval? ---------invite her over for dinner and make your best dish. if shes critical, ask for her advice and THANK her for it. most of all-show her how much you love her son, that should be all that matters anyway
