And it doesnt really mean hes a player we call my friend that all the time and she likes that nickname its cute

Generally, it is not a bad term...it's kind of like a slang. I think some guys use it similar to "cutie" except it doesn't mean cute..it's just a term of endearment : )

If you like a the nickname, then it's a good thing. If you don't like the nickname, then it's a bad thing, and you should tell him not to use it.
