my sister as this problem of acting like she is 10 years old when in fact she is 17. Most of the time it is at home but somethimes it doest stay there it goes into the public eye which is really embarassing to me and my older brother who he and i are 15 help what should i do

Immaturity is hard to deal with at times, but yes please do ignore it if she gets the attention she is hoping for by acting this way the behavior will just continue. Tell her that you do not like it and let her know it embarrasses you?

Only time helps people mature. If your sister has bad judgment (makes decisions like a 10 year old) then you should stress to your parents that danger may lie ahead since there are so many ways a 17 year old can screw up.
But if she just 'acts' immature in a babyish way, that's her style, her stupid style but it is her style. It is up to her, moving around in society, to pick up on the clues that other people give her. That is how everyone has their rough edges softened - by moving around in society and learning to blend in. With time, that will happen to your sister, too.

if shes is hanging around younger kids and not people her own age then there is a issue with her and she should be seen and evaluated by a shrink I have a daughter who has the same issues we didnt know what to do till we had her looked at and they gave her drugs for bi polar shes been acting better now and you want to get her to be with older people so she starts picking up on the wy they act
