What does the Bible say is the way to eternal life?

The only way to eternal life is to ask for God's forgiveness and to become one with Him to learn what you are to do. To get into Heaven you must accept the Lord into your heart and really mean it.

John 3:16 reads:

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life."

And if you believe that and ask God to forgive you for the wrong you have done, then you can have everlasting life.

He who comes to God must believe in Him, for He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

To be his true disciple, you must take up your cross daily and follow after him, even if it means leaving the ones you love (family members).
Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. (Matthew 16:24-26)
