The best place to find out about Mormons and their beliefs is to go to the source and learn from there. In other words talk to a Mormon, visit a Mormon Church or better yet, invite the missionaries over to your home.
Short of that, look up information on their web pages listed below. going to the source is the best way to find accurate information. Another other source can be misleading and in error. It would be like going to Wal-Mart to find out information about K-mart, Kohl's or any other competitor. You may get some partial truths, but the information most assuredly will be tainted in the favor of the giver.

We believe in Jesus, Heavenly Father, and the Holy ghost (spirit).
We believe that men will be punished for their own sins and not for Adams transgression.
We believe in the atonement.
We believe in faith, repentance, baptism, and recieving the holy ghost.
We believe in latter day prophets, apostles, ect.
We believe in the Bible and the Book of Mormon.
AND SO MANY MORE THINGS! Go to www.lds.org
Also some other things like we do not drink coffee or tea with caffeine, we do not smoke, or drink alcohol. We believe in the commandments. We believe in eternal marriage which is performed in the temple.
We believe in a lot.....too much to put here
PS Mormons date whenever their parents let them....being 16 has nothing to do with our beliefs. It is wise thought to wait until you are older to make right choices when dating.

Rather than going issue by issue presently here; let me do it this way.
Discern things;
The old testament is not Genesis-Malachi (Violating 2 Tim. 3:16-17), but the law of Moses (KJV, 2 Cor. 3:13-14). Also apply the two or more witnesses principle Matt.18:16, 2 Cor. 13:1. (See the various people and scriptures that they benchmark against the 'law of Moses').
I will stop here for now.

One can carefully study the doctrines and theologies of the Mormon beliefs (see sources below), and can then form their own conclusions. I see no issue with someone objectively stating their opinions if they are based on a rational analysis of the issues. I have found the non-Christian religions, such as Mormonism, to be philosophically indefensible, being internally incoherent or undermining human reason and experience.

There are many members of religious groups that have staked their eternal souls on their beliefs without searching the scriptures, reviewing the doctrinal writings of church leaders, studying hermeneutics, philosophy, logic, and theology to satisfy themselves that what they have been told is sufficiently rational and worth believing.

In a nutshell:
1 We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
2 We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam’s transgression.
3 We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
4 We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
5 We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.
6 We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.
7 We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.
8 We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.
9 We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
10 We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.
11 We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
12 We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.
13 We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
