Paddy Murphy walked into a the pub, looking like he'd just been run over by a train. His arm was in a sling, his nose broken, his face cut and bruised, and walking with a terrible limp.
"What happened to you"?, asked Sean, the bartender.
"Jamie O'Conner and me had a fight", said Paddy.
"That little $h*t, O'Conner", said Sean, 'He couldn't do that to you! He must've had something in his hands"!
"That he did"!, said Paddy. "A shovel is what he had, and a terrible lickin' he gave me with it"!
"Well, you should have defended yourself", said Sean. " Didn't you have anything in your hands"?
"That I did", said Paddy. "Mrs. O'Conner's bosom and a thing of beauty it was,....... but useless in a fight"!
