Mu husband had a hard time expressing himself also before we got married, Now that I'm pregnant he can't say it enough. But I always knew that he loved me even though he had a hard time saying it first.

If you are questioning that about your fiance...then I honestly don't think you guys are ready to be married. Depending on how much time you guys have known each other, you really should know by now if she really loves you or not. And on her part....usually the longer you are with a person you are less shy and are able to express better. Maybe you can have a talk and try to communicate with her so that she can try to open up to you. Goodluck!

Maybe you live in a country where your engagement was arranged? And you two don't know each other that well yet?
Maybe she needs some more time . Well, she likes to be engaged with you or she doesn't. If she doesn't what can she say? Does she have a choice?
If she does like it to be your fiancee, I think it's a matter of time. Good luck.

In my experience. The shy ones are the freaky ones. Give her time. When she trusts you she will reveal herself. If not. She doesn't love you.

if shes your fiance, the answers yes. i dont know anyone who would agree to marry w/out love. do her actions show it? some people are afraid of words-its usually form our parents, or from a bad burn in the past. if this doesnt work-demand an answer. if no reply-dont marry.

Are you arranged? Just go talk to her, straight, make sure she is in a good mood. Ask he if she really loves you, and you'll know if she is lying or not.

if she has told you she loves you, believe her. if she hasn't, and you have been pestering her about it and she's still with you, she loves you. you sound a bit insecure...
