I hear alot of black women saying how they are strong black women. Like, what do you mean by "strong"?

Did that offend you? I'm black and I feel that I'm strong not because I'm black but because I have endured many trials and tribulations and I'm still standing. That statement isn't meant to offend anyone it's just saying that I can make it. White, Spanish, Asian can say the same if they are women of strength. Make their own money, pay their own bills etc....

It means strong minded. It could also mean strong physically.
