A Cockatiel is a Parrot. Yes-They can-if they are both Cockatiels and are of opposite sex. It costs about $20 to have a bird DNA-Sexed.

Cockatiels ARE parrots. Last year, there was a reported hybrid between a galah (rose-breasted cockatoo) and a cockatiel.

I really thought you were nuts when you asked this. I didnt think that a bird would breed with another species. But I guess all things are possible with some of God's amazing work.
