She is proud of her kill (or capture). Your shoes smell like you and she is bringing you, her master, a gift. My cat used to do the same thing. Be proud of your little hunter. She loves you!

Yes all the other answers here i agree with, she is just bringing you a present even though it doesn't seem like it! just put an old pair of shoes out so your cat can put the snakes in there and put the shoes that you wear into cupboard or in some plastic bags.

yup your kitty is just proud of what he has done. But this is rather dangerous because who knows if he will stumble upon a poisonous snake and get hurt/killed. You need to keep your cat inside to keep him safe. And the snake in the shoe thing won't happen anymore.

Like she said, it's proud of it's kill, but if it is grossing you out, (I'm sure it is) then you should train the cat not to lave them in your shoe. Train the cat by getting a cheap, small, squirt gun, like from Target or somewhere, not a big one because you don't want to drown or petrify your cat. Then, catch it in the act of leaving the snake in your shoe, and gently squirt it with water until it gets the picture. Repeat until it finally stops leaving them in your shoe. Hope it helps!

That is hilarious! But the first person is correct. The cat is bringing you the snakes to show you what he has caught for you. My family's cat used to kill and drag mice and squirrels to our front door as a way of saying "Look what I'm protecting you from...LOVE ME!" Hehe!

I think she is putting the snakes in your shoes because she loves you and she is hunting for you and bring you her catch. My cat brings geckos because I'm in SC. She thinks she is doing a good think so praise her and check your shoes each time you put them on.♥♥♥

Aren't you lucky! She went out of her way to bring in what she caught and show it to you! It may seem really strange that your shoes is the place of choice but she knows that you will see it that way. She doesn't have a mental problem or dislike you, she just wants to show off!

They're right. She is showing off and leaving you presents. I guess where you live the snakes are plentiful. It could be anything, rats, mice, lizards, bugs, birds. Be glad she is hunting and killing the snakes.

possibly you want to isolate her for a at the same time as to retrain her. once you've a small room with not straightforward flooring, you should save her in there with the purposes-- muddle field, scratching submit, toys, foodstuff & water. Cats don't like peeing on not straightforward surfaces, so as that could inspire her to apply the muddle field. If there is no longer some thing else to scratch, she will be able to locate the fashion to scratch the submit. Spend time including her in there as a lot as you may and praise sturdy habit whenever you note it. once you're waiting to enable her out back, make certain each thing she generally likes to pee on is off the floor. purchase more beneficial muddle packing bins, so she has many alternatives of proper places to pee. positioned some thing like double stick tape or a product called "Sticky Paws" on your furniture and carpet. Cats hate the way this feels on their claws and could that those places don't experience sturdy to scratch. proceed to praise sturdy habit. As for jumping on the table, i have seen this trick on some television practice (i visit't bear in options which one). Line the table with baking sheets or pots and pans so as that once the cat jumps, it will make terrible noises and she will be able to no longer do it anymore. ultimately you may nicely be able to positioned issues back the way they were. i am hoping you do not provide up on the finished species. I actually have not in any respect had such terrible memories with cats. they oftentimes carry me a lot peace and love, as adverse to my loopy canines who motives me stress. possibly in the destiny, you should judge adopting a senior cat. Senior cats are often so loving and nicely-behaved.
