it depends on the type of milk-cow, goat, buffalo, etc. Milk is turned to curd with the addition of rennet. Animal rennet is from the stomach of slaughtered baby calves. Vegetable rennet is from a weed like bacteria. The milk forms curds, which are then pressed, flavored and aged in different ways to develop their flavors.

Aw c'mon! its easy......you make butter from milk by churning it...cheese is made from butter the same way! LOL!
