Med. clinics and doc offices are not doing it's patients any favours by allowing or encouraging booking appt. sometimes 3 mos. in advance. A pop. of 500 can keep one doctor's appt book filled, which sounds rediculous and IS. People cancell their appointment for the next day , if not needed and automatically make another amonth down the road, just in case they need one then around that time. Rediculous!! My daughter has been getting a rash and I 've been unable to get her to b to be referred to an allergist because the docs been all boked up for the next 3 months and they don't book for anything till the 2 months are up and they have a new schedule. In the meantime when she gets rashes in school or at nite all we can do is use a cream. People talk about road rage ........I'd like to talk about abuse ... missuse of a power that I pay for also. Any answer for this kind of situation out there?

I know what you mean . Very up setting. What I did find out at an appointment that 3 people were booked for a 10:00 appointment . That did not go over well as I waited an extra 45 minutes. So I let it be known in a loud way in the waiting room what was happening here and I had many joining in with me. My doctor was not real happy but that does not happen anymore at least when I have an appointment. So I guess we have to voice our opinion louder.I know sometimes things come up for a doctor and I can live with that but my time is important too.
