Depends... would you like to earn some money or just have something to do! For extra cash try selling on ebay, it is great fun looking for bargains at garage sales & thrift shops to resell. You don't say how many kids you have or their ages, so your time may be divided between them... Jewellery making seems to be popular, again you could sell what you create.

scrapbooking to remember your childrens best memories, when your kids are home play boardgames or go outside and play sports with them you may find your actually interested in a certain sport. try interior design. its your hosue feel free to rearrange and paint and decorate, this can be lots of fun. read books, write books, take up art, sewing, plant a big garden, cook new and exciting things, take up and instrument.

How about doing crafts? It could be fun for you and you could also share some of them with your children. My wife makes cards and jewelry and our neices love to come over and do crafts with her. She makes things for herself, her family and the kids. Just a suggestion, but it has been great therapy for my wife since she's been unable to work.

I used to look for old useful furniture, take it home, sand it back, paint it and furnish the house. You could start a herb garden.

Easy, you can easily teach yourself to play basic piano, teach yoursef to knit, or you can eaisly do online college classes!
