I found out from being in the army there are a few ways for doing this. One is adding weight to your run like ankle weights or a conditioning vest. Another is to run extreme long distances without stopping. And last but yet the best is running 60/30's run for 60 sec than jog for 30. good luck man.

You need 2 things to help your sprinting:

- calf muscle (if i spell correctly)
You need to accelerate fast so the calf muscle will help a lot. Moreover you should tip toe while you sprint to reduce fiction. Carry a bar bell or 2 dumb bell on your should and tip toe 20-50 times to build up the muscle.

- hold your breath
Swimming will help you hold your breath longer. If you are sprinting short distance, holding your breath and sprint will increase your speed by alot.

Do you know who Asafa Powell? He's the fastest man in the world. He wasn't able to take that number one spot until he started taking a Nutrilite product called Double X. Supplements play a big role when it comes to increasing our ability. If you're interested in trying double X email me ricanpa79@yahoo.com

My husband and I were both college track runners, and our coach always told us in order to run fast, you need proper form and strong leg muscles. So build your legs and learn to run properly. Let your jaw hang slack when you're sprinting as well.
