This is a rather common occurance. Go to a local pharmacy in NC, and get them to call your Walgreens pharmacy. Get the prescription transferred. There might be some insurance issues though, if it is an early refill.
The worst case scenario would be to go to a local NC doctor and have them write a partial prescription for you.
You can also call your doctor and have him call in or fax a prescription to the local pharmacy.

Yes, there are options. I've ran into a dilemma like that before. Since I don't have further information I'll give you more than one option. If you have refills left on your prescription at Walgreens you can simply call any Walgreens and get your prescription transfered to any local pharmacy in NC. You may even be able to just walk into a local drug store and they will call Walgreens for you and get your pills ready for you. Give yourself some time though as this can take up to an hour or longer at some pharmacies. When you get home just make sure you transfer the prescription back to Walgreens.
If you don't have any more refills it really depends on your doctor and what kind of pills they are. You could call your doctor, explain your situation and they should at least be able to call in a few pills to get you by until you get home. This can be more difficult with narcotics such as pain medicine but in general it should work.
If all else fails then you could go to a local clinic and be seen and get a prescription for what you need but I really don't think it would come down to that. I know what it's like to be without my medication so I wish you the best of luck!

Just call the doctor who prescribed them. If no answer since this is a weekend, go to a hospital emergency room and inquire there . Or call Walgreen's directly and ask .
Lets see, what else to do ? Maybe a family member can get to the apartment and mail you the prescriptions .
Good Luck, I am sure it will work out . Have a great vacation .

If your doctor is closed today you can have the pharmacy where you are phone the Walgreens in your home town. Sometimes they will transfer the prescription through. If you still can't get your pills - you may have to see a doctor in NC & have him re-prescribe enough pills to get you through.

It happens all the time.
Go to the nearest Pharmacy and ask them about transferring your prescriptions to them. I don't know if there are any weird laws in North Carolina, but this should be doable.
It will take some time, and they will need to get some information from you. Don't expect your insurance to pay for any of it.

Find out who the local pharmacy is. Call your doctor and have them call in the prescription to that pharmacy. I had to do this one time too.
Enjoy you vacation! ;)

Call your physician and have him fax the Rx's to a local store. Some drug stores will forward Rx's. Can't hurt to try.
