what exactly does a beutician do when she texturizes your hair??? is it good for you hair????

it does not make your hair thinner
it just adds texture... instead of your hair just being cut straight across and look like someone just chopped it off... texturizing makes it look more natural like your hair did it all by itself... its the best way to go for your hair... it looks good trust me!

It is like thinning the hair but it is done with taking the scissors into the hair and taking out pieces of hair so the hair will have a feathery look to it.

usually they use a straight razor and run it up and down the bottom of your hair. it isnt exactly thinning, just making it so the bottoms arent straight across. btw if it was bad for ur hair she wouldnt do it!
