That was the 191'st verse from the 2nd Chapter in the Qur'an, possibly the most read verse in the Qur'an by an average westerner, but did any of you give up 5 minutes of your time to see this verse in context? isn't it wonderful how we can strip a single verse and make it seem vile, violent and horrible, I'm going to quote Just 1 verse before and after the 191'st, and I Hope that it's going to be the Last time.
[2:190] You may fight in the cause of GOD against those who attack you, but do not aggress. GOD does not love the aggressors.
[2:192] If they refrain, then GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

Well that is why people in some other countries do suicide bombing acts. Well isn’t that moron Bush having a war for no reason? Why he is having war? Because he is a religious Christian believing that Muslims will take over one day. That is the reason they do suicide bombing acts. Im not saying its right or wrong but killing innocent people isn’t right. But then again Bush is killing innocent people of Iraq bombing and shooting. Think of the poor little kids who’ve lost their parents and siblings. I’m not here to make enemies or criticize any religion so anyone please don’t be offended if this offended you in any way.
Oh yeah its not good to stereotype every muslim that they are terrorists think of their feelings.

I mean no disrespect to any religion but it is true god made a man in jail a look alike of Jesus and raised Jesus to the heavens where he watches over us. Why other religions believe he is dead? Is because the Romans have changed around every holy book except the Holy Quar’an. But even if some moron comes around to change it he can remember people have memorized the Quar’an and it will always be in our hearts. BTW what is in the Quar’an WAS in the Torah and the Bible before they were changed and rearranged. Some of this information in the Quar’an still exists in other holy books like in the Torah im sorry I don’t know what verse but the verse says “Thou shalt not eat swine” which is why Muslims and Jews eat no pork or any meat not kosherized or halal. One again PLEASE DO NOT BE OFFENDED I MEAN NO HARM.

I'd rather not arbitrate my actions by the standards of any book. The Quran (like the Bible) was written centuries ago to a particular audience, with whom I have practically nothing in common culturally, intellectually, ethically or spiritually. It is perhaps surprising to some that times should change after the lapse of 1300 years, and that in any case, one man's meat is another man's poison; but this is the fundamental problem with all absolutist, dogmatic religion: it supposes that its rules apply to everybody in all circumstances throughout eternity.

...can a Muslim be a good American...? Can a devout Muslim be an American patriot and loyal citizen...? Theologically, No ! Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia. Scripturally, No ! Because his allegiance if to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran. Geographically, No ! Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns and prays five times a day. Socially, No ! Because his allegiance is to Islam which forbids him to make friends with Christians and Jews. Politically, No ! because he must submit to the mullah who teaches annihilation of Israel and the destruction of America. Domestically, No ! because he is instructed to marry four woman and beat them when they disobey him. Religiously, No ! Because no other religion is recognized by Islam. Intellectually, No. because he cannot accept the American Constitution which is based on Christian Bible principles. Philosophically, no because Islam and the Quarn do not allow freedom of religion or expression ...Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist as every Muslim government is dictatorial or autocratic. Spiritually, no because "we" declare One Nation under God, the Christian God of our Principles of the founding fathers of the United States... nor is Allah ever called heavenly father or loving God or kind in the Quarn's 99 excellent names.

people should read tafsir by ibn kathir (explanation of the quran by ibn kathir) otherwise they wont know why verses are revealed and if they have been abrogated etc...
