What are the specific characteristics of these 2 breeds please?
How do they compare in terms of weight, height, temperament agility etc...?
Any 1 more/less suitable as a pet?

The Cane Corso is a medium-big size dog, strongly built but elegant, with powerful and long muscles, very distinguished, he expresses strength, agility and endurance. Presa Canario it is a Originated from the Canary Islands of Tnerlfe and Gran Canarias. Used in the past as a fighting dog. Recently used as a guard, defense, and cattle guard dog. Height at withers: dogs range from 59-64cm; bitches from 55-59cm. If the animal is correctly proportioned, it may exceed given standard. Weight ranges from 42-50kg for dogs; bitches range from 38-45kg. Specially doted for guarding and defense, with an impetuous temperament; powerful and aggressive; skillful fighter with a deep, powerful bark. I like Cane Corso's but that's me. All these breeds tend to get a bad rap but are great dogs if trained right. It's great that you are going to train the dog, these big of dogs can easily take over a humans strength. Pits and Presa Canario are great dogs too. Which ever you like best!! :D

they are both similar temperaments, though the cane corsa is taller and slimmer while the pressa is more bulk an power. the corsa can be as tall as a grt dane and the pressa the size of a bull mastiff
