I couldn't agree more. The problem definetly lies with the Muslims(the followers of Islam). Some of them just don't know how to react. Terrorism is acctually entirely linked to politics. Ever wonder why terrorist hate America and it's allies?(their foreign policies and double standards). Why they target Europeans and Americans? Why there are no Muslim terorists in China(would have been easy to blow people up and tons of people to kill)? Basicly it's all hatred and revenge which is making Muslims tarnish their own religion.

I do not think that the cause of extremism in Islam is due to Muslims being ignorant of Islam. It is due to their inappropriate interpretation of the Koran and the Hadiths. It is also due to the many schisms between Muslims as with Christianity in the Middle Ages. I believe and see with my own eyes Muslim children being educated and reared in the right path, that is, the path of Islam and PEACE by true Muslim parents. These children would no more think of going out and terrorizing people of other faiths than you or I would. However, the extreme hate groups of Islamists do in fact indoctrinate their children and this is of global concern as these people no more care for their lives or their children's and anticipate only the reward of arriving in heaven as a martyr. I often think that this may very well be the core cause of fanaticism; to become a martyr and get the highest reward in heaven, plus of course, the hate of all things not exactly like them.

The right picture of lslam is conveyed in the Qur'an, which is exemplified by Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. The reality is that it is not fair to judge a religion by the actions of its followers alone because there are good and bad followers in every religion. The correct thing to do is to judge a religion by its documented revelation from God and the prophet who brought that revelation
One of the many short comings which has arisen in the West, is judging Islam by the conduct of a minority of its people. By doing this, segments of Western society have deliberately played off the desperate actions of many Muslims, and have given it the name of Islam. Such behaviour is clearly not objective and seeks to distort the reality of Islam. For if such a thing was done Judge a religion by the conduct of its people) then we too could say that all Christianity is about is child molesting and homosexuality By using the many cases of child abuse and homosexuality by priests, Such a generalisation about Christianity could be made

Yes! I will have to agree with that.
Education must be given not only in the form of the quran & sunnah but also other religions & other cultures. This obviously won't be such an easy task. Your everyday muslim parent would rather die than let such a thing happen. But the muslim generation must be aware of other religions & cultures & rather than condemning them to hell , must look into the parallels & similarities set with other religions. The extremist messages spread by muftis , Fatwas and its like must be censored.
This , in my opinion would be effective to curb the issue we have at hand.

That is correct. Terrorism is caused by incorrect teachings of Islam. They seem to misunderstand Islam more than people who don't know anything about it. To stop terrorism then we need to stop teaching children and adults that they need to commit terrorists acts. They need to learn that Allah condemns these actions and they are putting their souls at risk.
Islam is a wonderful religion and I'm so sad that our image is spoiled by a small group of misguided people. I hope one day people will realize that they are not Muslims. It's as if they (terrorists) made up their own religion and took pieces of Islam and their views and called it Islam when it's really not.

The problem is you only educate so many children in Islam and do not permit them to think. Extremism is bred because you dont educate your people.
