Call the vet! Chocolate is very dangerous for some dogs and sometimes fatal. He may have an allergic reaction and end up not doing so hot

Depends on the size of the dog and the size of the eggs. It sounds like the eggs were mostly marshmallow covered in chocolate. That is a good thing. . . if they were solid chocolate, I would be concerned. I am not a vet, but he will probably be fine. Of course keep an eye on him for signs of illness, pat his head, tell him he is silly but you love him anyway!

I can't imagine it will do him any harm. It might make him a bit sick, but at least he will (hopefully) learn no t to do it again. Dogs are not as sensitive as you think...they'll eat just about anything and be ok.
If you do notice anything which is not normal behaviour for your dog i would take him to the vet to be sure, but he will probably be ok. Don't worry, just keep an eye on him for the next day or so...any symptoms will show up soon

I had a dog once lick all the chocolate icing off a cake my sister and I made. She was fine. But I'd call the vet anyway.

I'm presuming that these marshmallow eggs were only small, and the chocolate would only have been fairly thin on them, so I wouldnt worry. sorry about the eggs though.

White chocolate: 200 ounces per pound of body weight. It takes 250 pounds of white chocolate to cause signs of poisoning in a 20-pound dog, 125 pounds for a 10-pound dog.
Milk chocolate: 1 ounce per pound of body weight. Approximately one pound of milk chocolate is poisonous to a 20-pound dog; one-half pound for a 10-pound dog. The average chocolate bar contains 2 to 3 ounces of milk chocolate. It would take 2-3 candy bars to poison a 10 pound dog. Semi-sweet chocolate has a similar toxic level.
Sweet cocoa: 0.3 ounces per pound of body weight. One-third of a pound of sweet cocoa is toxic to a 20-pound dog; 1/6 pound for a 10-pound dog.
Baking chocolate: 0.1 ounce per pound body weight. Two one-ounce squares of bakers' chocolate is toxic to a 20-pound dog; one ounce for a 10-pound dog.
You can recognize that your dog has eaten a toxic dose of chocolate from the symptoms. Within the first few hours, the evidence includes vomiting, diarrhea or hyperactivity. As time passes and there's increased absorption of the toxic substance, you'll see an increase in the dog's heart rate, which can cause arrhythmia, restlessness, hyperactivity, muscle twitching, increased urination or excessive panting.
