Of course it is. Just gargle with salt water and maybe you could use a humidifier at night especially during the winter when our heat is on and the air is dry. If a dry throat can make you not go to the gym then you may be looking for any excuse not to go. Take the day off and go tomorrow!

if your throat hurts you can, but it may be more strenous. if this is the case, i would recomend taking breaks so that you arent in to much pain. if it doesnt hurt, than i doubt that there would be any harm in working out. if i continues to hurt, you may want to get a throat culture
