I live in Texas where I know of hispanics that are legal that have problems with the influx of illegals. Their biggest complaint is the same as the rest of the people that have problems with illegals - they are driving down wages and are a drain on the citizens of the community, state, and federal government. They don't like their tax dollars being used to support those that are doing such.

There are hierarchies in the Hispanic culture. Cubans, Puerto Ricans, and Dominicans are on the top. Mexico is probably the second and South America comes later like in third or fourth place. The **** of the Hispanic hierarchy is the Central Americans becuase almost everybody discriminates them. Puerto Ricans think they're the best because they're U.S. citizens by birth and Cubans come here and immediately become legal. This gives them a better standing. The rest of us Hispanics come in later and therefore, are somehow beneath them. Not all Hispanics are the same and there are many that don't like each other.

Well, if we are talking about legal immigrants not liking illegal immigrants, it is likely due to the fact that the illegal immigrants broke the law, are driving down wages and overcrowding schools etc., just as the rest of us here feel.
This isn't an 'anti-Hispanic' issue, it is an anti-illegal immigration issue. Illegals probably hurt legal immigrants more than they hurt most Americans, because of direct competition.

i hate to tell you this but many hispancs like me are not immigrants. the us southwest was settled by spanish people. like my ancestors. we do not like them for they come, break the law and then get lazy to do the righ think to get invovled and then they the illegals often never bother to allow thier kids to grad from high school let alone college. only the elite super rich of mexico do that. it is a shame they come and continue the poverty and low wages for several generations.
