For each 3500 extra calories that you eat and do not burn off you will gain 1 pound. 3500 calories is not hard to do if you eat a lot of the wrong foods.

1 kg of fat equals to 3500 calories or 15000 kilojouls. there is nooo way you could put on and extra kilo (of body fat that is)in a couple of days unless u eat the EXTRA 3500 calories on top of what u are already eating. the weight gain in the time span of a day or two etc is usually water weight and how your body fluctuates as it moves through the bowels. this is usually the cause of your body weight going up and down if u weigh yourself every day. dont know if u are try to lose, put it on or just a general question. you should weight yourself at the same time on the same day every week for a more accurate result and if therte is a impretion on your legs when u press them ( or say bands left by your socks by the end of the day it is usually fluid or too tight a socks :) hope this helps

it depends on your body composition and the amount of the caloric excess. fat gain does not occur on a daily basis but over a period of time. bodyweight can fluctuate several lbs from day to day, this is mainly from hydration levels and either an increase or decrease in the carbohydrate intake. so many times when the "weight" has increased on the scale it's not from increased fat mass. this is why tracking the body fat is the only accurate method of determining where gains and loses on the scale are actually occuring

instantly, every extra calorie that you put into your body that isnt burned will turn to extra weight. 3500 extra, will add up to one pound. eat 7000 extra calories on a binge and you could very well gain two pounds a day.

1. Check your weight.
2. Eat your lunch, dinner, or any big meal.
3. Check your weight.
Will gain weight. :D

Me? Uhm... well, if I can stop my diet program... I can show you 1-2 kilograms in just one day. If I don't stop it... well, it can be 8-10 kilos in 3-4 months and it will stay in my body permanently.
The problem is to lose it again... I will need at least 6 months.
