I respect honesty, no matter what shape or form it comes in. I'll take the frown.

Definatly the honest frown.

Adding to this I wouldnt take offence to it either, dishonesty offends me, honesty humbles me.

Hum well I'm not to sure. I can say that if I was the one giving the smile or a frown it would deeply depend on who I was with. If it was some one that I didn't know that well. I would most likely give a phony smile.
So I guess it wouldn't really matter to me what some one else did to me. Some people just don't like to show others how they are feeling. That is totally OK with me.Others wear there feelings on there sleeves. This is also ok with me.

Honesty is always best. I have no tolerance for phony people and liars. If you feel like frowning, I'd rather see that than a fake smile.

I think people lie. I think 99% of people would rather others give them a fake smile in actual life, though in theory, it sounds nice to say that they would prefer the "real" emotion showing on the outside,
however, I don't think that is true at all.

In general, the reaction one gets to a frown is for others to also frown back at them, treat them nasty or constantly tilt their head and ask "what's wrong"?.

The appropriate response from the person with the frown should be "f**k off".

To that the disingenuously concerned person will either say "well excuse me, b**ch." or start to cry.

It depends. If I don't know the person and the situation isn't important, I'll probably smile. If it's for something serious or involves a person I do know, then I'll not only frown, I'll give a dirty look and stick out my tongue!

Phony smile! I always like a smile alot better than a yucky, grumpy ole frown, anybody can do that! According to research, it takes more of an effort to smile than to frown........
