Is it alright to ask for a new car?

I am 22.
I had my 1st car when I was 14.
Mom sold my car just last, last year. Oct 2005 cuz we got bankrupt. Now that I think that my moms business is okay. Is it alright to ask for a new car? Or should I wait 2-6 months and ask?

Well I can't work cuz in my country where I am staying, we dont earn $1000 or $2000 a month unlike in the US. So I am not living in the US. And besides in the country where I am staying, U cant get a Job unless you have a BA degree. I still have 2 years more. Jesus Christ, U dont know nothing in this world u stupid retards!

You are 22 and want to ask your Mother for a car? Have you ever heard of a job and buy your own? Get off your lazy butt and take care of yourself. I would buy my daughter anything she wanted, but she takes care of herself and would never think of asking me for anything like that.

Is there a reason you can't buy your own car? I'm not joking or being rude. I understand you two may have made an agreement or you might be in school. You are of adult age. I think you should take it upon yourself to look into that option. Give your Mom a break. It sounds like she's had a tough year. I'm sure the last thing she wanted to do was sell your car. Start looking into some, come up with a plan of how to buy it. Share your plans with your Mom and if she can, she will probably offer her help.
