You really can't. There are ways to verify if someone is or was in the military, but directories or lists of military members aren't available to the public at large.

Uh..... you can't really. Now there are military friend finders and such for people trying to find people they knew once upon a time but other than that you really can't.

For one think about identity theft. It was not so long ago that someone took a laptop home that was lost that had personal information for military across the board veteran to active.

But most importantly if it was so easy to find out would not the terrorists want it? Killing family members stateside would be so easy to do once they have a name to plug into the net. Not to mention many of those who are in sensitive positions within the military.

Are you in the military? No, I guess not. Because if you were, you would know the way to find other members of the military. There is a way, but you have to be IN to know.

There is no public list of who is serving in the US Military unless you have relatives who are serving
and if you know someone by name who is serving.
Other than that, you might click on http://www.military.com and click on the link buddy finder and that might help!!!
