I stand corrected, NUTRO is one beening involved in the recall. Please check the web for the right food recalls. It is for Wal-Mart,Safeway,Kroger stores plus more the brand food called Cuts and gravy. It is the wet food in cans and pouches.

I went to the web site and indeed NUTRO in cans is being recalled. However they do not say what to do with the food if you have it or who to return it too.
UPDATE:
Please go to the NUTRO web site they give much better info on the recalls. I just called my supplier and I am now going to return all the canned food I have.

go to search and type in "pet food recall" it will give you a list of all food affected by the recall. There are several wet foods being recalled for example: Nutro Max, Nutro Natural Choice and a variety of others. There is a contact number if you have any questions.

According to today's news, there is a precautionary recall of MANY brands of canned dog & cat food, including some brands sold under the names of NUTRO, Eukanuba, Iams, & others. The site below lists involved product names. There is also a phone number on the site. The food causes kidney failure. Evidently a wheat ingredient from a major supplier is at fault.

Yes. Many dog foods are being recalled.

Here is the link to the FDA website with information:
http://www.fda.gov/bbs/topics/NEWS/2007/NEW01590.html

Iams and Eukenuba are also doing a recall---they are NOT on the "menufoods" list. Scroll to the bottom of the FDA page and you'll find links to their announcements.

So far it only looks like the "cuts and gravy" wet food.
