Oh praise the Lord - He lifted me -
My sins are forgiven - and now I am free!

Whatever shackles you had you put there yourself. Whatever shackles you lost, you lost them yourself. "Sin" is hurting other people. If you don't make amends with the people you have harmed in some way and really comprehend the harm you did, your "sin" is still a part of who you are.

The first line is SO true of me. I became an atheist at 15 after three years of consideration. Never have I felt more free. I felt it very strongly at the moment of stepping over that line that separated me from my then agnosticism.
Now, 50 years later, I still appreciate that freedom hugely.

Now the question is: Can you accept my answer with out being disrespectful?

Have a great weekend!
