Wow - deep question!

Things can exist without having first been observed. This is a process called discovery. Learning can only follow discovery.

I guess scientists discover the answer but the questions are always there and so are the answers they just need to be found. I like a quote from a sci-fi movie I once saw which stated that science is merely the "best guess". I think that is rather cool. The thing about science is that it doesn't suddenly stop - it is constantly revealing new truths and aspects. It never settles on anything as being conclusive as we are always limited by what we have at our disposal today - tomorrow may bring a whole new perspective! Science is about revealing the truth so it will never assume that it is all-knowing and it is open to new information totally throwing out any prior discovery - that's exciting!

To answer this the best way I know how is to throw the question back.

What I want you to do is to stand in a room sometime during daylight hours. Close all the blinds so that you cant see outside, oh and close the door. Then close your eyes. Once you have done all of this, answer this question. What colour is the sky?

The point of putting it this way shows that it matters not where you are, or how good your sight is, the sky still appears blue. If you were to live your whole life in that room, or have been born blind, it wouldnt change the fact that the sky appears to be blue!

The most controversial form of science is theoretical science. This in its self comprises of many different disciplines in science. These scientists are the ones that, for want of a better word, prophesies where, or what the next answer is. They then devise experiments to prove or disprove their theory. For some fun have a look at particle physics, especially the search for the Higgs Boson.

I was just wondering about something like this the other day and decided that it's too deep for me. I can think about it, but cannot hope to find an answer that I can say I know is the whole truth. This reminds me of the scenario with Schrödinger's cat in which a state of existance or reality is not absolute until it is observed. Although we obviously create the realities of our own world, it seems that in the mind of God (the universe and its workings, not any religious theistic god), these things must have a reality that has nothing to do with us. But even once we do observe, we still can't always agree on what we saw. Reality is what we think it is.

Our cognition thinks mostly about the self, so to go beyond the self is were these discoveries happen. We're so blinded about how people think about us and we think about me that there is no room for the potential to understand the truth of the/a ultimate reality, as the law of existence has continued to happen without our awareness of such possibilities.

There is way too many things that are happening as once in every single millisecond the the theories that then become laws become obsolete after a another law transforms the prior law that lead the way to further understanding.

Check out the second chapter of Ken Wilber's book "Sex, Ecology, Spirituality". Hope this helps.

Scientific rules were existed before their discovery. There is a difference in discovery and invention. So invented items never existed before their invention.

They do, but we can't say they do, as we have not discovered them yet.

Or we can say they do, and we should look for a way to prove them and see how we can support our ideas.

Are you a pot smoker? I can't really follow what you are saying, but nobody can speak with authority or give any insight about things we have no meaningful knowledge of...they are outside the proper concerns of human-kind.

It's numbers. It's just numbers.
Remember that is what I would say...and you'll have a better feel for truth.
