I think that they have the right to do that, but it is really dumb. I think that being gay is gross. I don' t think about Elton John having anal and oral sex with another man when I listen to his music.
If we banned everyon's product that did not conform to Biblical teaching, we would all be growing our own vegetables. Paul argues against such a radical reaction in Romans when he talks about how it is fine for some people to eat meat that has been sacrificed to idols, and not fine for others because it is a matter of conscience. I don' think that listening to EJ is promoting sin or homosexuality.

Depends on if you are talking morally or legally. I do not know the laws that govern Trinidad, therefore I really can't comment on that.
Obviously, on the moral level this is wrong. Spreading the message that someone can "catch" homosexuality is a blatant lie. And, last time I checked, the majority of religions discouraged lying. Unless that has changed, but I don't remember getting the memo, or mass email.

Well I have many opinions on this. Do I think it is right for Christians to accept Homosexuality??? No. Do I think homosexuals should be kept from attending Christian services??? No. I think that trying to stop business transactions through religous involvement is wrong. BTW I doubt ANYONE believes Homosexual behavior can be "caught" but letting people parade their immoralities around can at times make it seem more normal.

No, the fear isn't that they'll catch it but that they'll see the gay lifestyle as "normal" and "acceptable"....which it isn't. It's important for leaders (and parents) to set an example. People can still choose what they want but they'll know where those in authority stand.

I agree that the stars lifestyle does not conform to biblical teaching. Homosexuality cannot be caught. Maybe they should invite him to church and show him that God loves everyone regardless of the sins they commit "EVEN HOMOSEXUALS"
God loves the sinner not the sin.

They are entitled to their opinion and to direct their flock. However their rights do not extend to expulsion of a celebrity on the grounds of sexual proclivity. You cannot catch homosexuality - even if it is a genetic predisposition, it is not a disease.
