I feel that I have partially lost touch with reality.
After something happens It feels like it never happened.
I had a sensation come over me where I actually believed I was committing suicide and that my time was up. It seemed so real, and I had no control over it,
I know who people are, I know who my parents are, but everything feels fake.
I feel no emotion and everything feels like its not really happening
I phoned up a local psychologist and explained to her what I was experiencing and she said it sounds very serious like I am experiencing psychotic breaks in my mind. She has worked in the mental health in hospital, She said its surprising I am aware of it and looking for help.
Being at work is like being in another world. Like I acting
Now I don’t know for sure if I actually phoned her or if I imagined the whole thing. So maybe its right what she says. i cant reach for reality

I have also made phone calls to the samartians and explained to them what I am experiencing and they also said that it sounds like something very serious and I need help – again I am not certain if this actually took place and I imagined it.
Nothing feels like it is happening to me. Its like a dream. No emotion towards anyone or anything, every thing feels fake and like I playing a part.
I feel no joy, just torture in my head.
I think of suicide most of the day, I thought my last counsellor was gonna come after me cause I stopped sessions with her
No one is listening to what I am saying; the psychologist I phoned seemed to have an idea what I was describing to her. When I tell my mum how I feel, she cried but I feel no emotion to it and it seems like it was not even happening
It’s not right too feel this way. I have no idea what it going on
I know I look normal and I talk normal when I need to, and I don’t look like some one who is in distress but I promise u I am

It sounds like some sort of dissociative disorder, but I'm not one to make a diagnosis. You need to see someone qualified in these things.

Sounds like a good idea to contact the Samaritans - they are ready to listen at any time of the day or night. I also understand that you will not be judged and it is completely confidential. Are you suffering from stress or worried about something - this might be the case even if you do not realise it. Hope you manage to sort out the problem. It sounds as if you are being quite sensible - contacting Samaritans and a psychologist. There are people out there who are willing and able to help you.

if you dont know what is real and what isnt go to the doctors with a family member someone that you trust and then you have someone who can tell you whats real about the visit and whats not. you need to make the dr listen, whoever you take with you could help with that. Try and get the dr to refer you for assessment so they can try and work out whats wrong. if that fails get your mum to take you to the hospital, as I dont know what area youre from I cant tell you which one but most have a mental health department or clinic. can I ask why you stopped going to see your counsellor? If you want to chat let me know ok.

As you are clearly aware, you need to get some help. You have identified that things are not right, and from what you have described it does sound like you have a problem that you need some help with - so get some help!
Make an appointment to see your GP, he/she can refer you to the right person. Or, if you really feel like you are in distress, go to a hospital and explain that you need help now and they will do something for you.
Good luck, I hope you're feeling better soon...

You certainly sound very troubled, make a point in going back to the doctor and tell them all of this stuff you are feeling, no point in hiding things and trying to act "normally", then they wont know what you are really going through. Hope you get some real help soon.

Maybe you did imagine speaking to a therapist because I don't htink they would diagnose you over the phone. First start by talking to a friend and get their opinion of your state of mine. Then make an appointment or have the friend make it for you so you know it actually happened. It sounds like depression and all the talk of suicide someone should insist that you get help immediately.

I find this fascinating. There is such a thing called a Brief Psychotic Episode. It IS reversible. Please mention your age in a follow up detail.
The part about feeling like your time is up is not uncommon, it is a symptom of a generalized anxiety disorder.
You have to always be around people. Continue to tell your story to a psychologist- document your experience so you can read back on it.
Again, please give your age, I have a strong feeling that this is temporary. Do not give up hope.

Anyone who thinks they have a major mental disorder and then asks for help on Yahoo Answers really does need help! Go and see your GP who will put you in touch with whoever can help you. There are so many weirdos on this site - you don't need to be listening to any of them.
One thing about the Samaritans - I was one for several years and they are always there to listen. Hopefully they can help you through difficult times by being there for you. However, they cannot make any kind of medical diagnosis. You really need to talk to someone who can

Let me just ask you a question, if everything to you seems unreal. How come you are able to come to Yahoo ANswers, as k the question you did, and then every once and a while add more material to it?
How come you don't hink this was a product from your imagination?
Is it really worth it to come to this site and ask the same questions to which you know the answers? If you will not accept the answers from the Clinical PSychologist, and other cousellor, what makes you think you will get here?
I am sorry but I don't believe you relaly have a problem. I just think you have too much time on your hands to waste.

You need some form of help to get back to reality, go back to the doctors and make them understand what you are experiencing, something is wrong and you must get it sorted. I do not think that your problem is unsolvable as you seem to understand what is happening to you. You are perhaps suffering from acute anxiety and are shutting everything out of your life. Please get some help talking about suicide is not the answer just get yourself better. Good luck

it sounds like your living a real nightmare. You really do need to speak to someone a friend of mine works for the NHS on mental health and i am sure they can help you and have medication for this. sounds a bit like a few things mixed into one a bit of depression, nerves, and even maybe schizophrenia and you really do need to go and get help. have you told your parents how you feel? maybe they could go along with you and seek help just so they can remember for you what is said. i use to work with es-may patients who acted something like this and they too suffer from depression and lapses in memory maybe it is early on set even if you are young. I hope you find help and you get the medication you need.
