-and no, I don't mean by lovers. Just what do couples do to be considered as having a healthy relationship.
Sounds like an out of this world question...can anyone have a relationship as a couple but do NOT do the things that couples do?

Yes, that can happen. I had as a best friend a guy & we spent a lot of time together, we went to the beach nearly every day, to the movies, to the bars, I had a fiancee at the time, where my guy friend was very single. We are still friends, only we live in different states now, and we are both married to other's. It's been over twenty years now that we became best friends. We are no longer "best" friends, but still are friends. We had a vacation together with spouses & his kids one time, it was great getting together again & seeing how our lives had changed, meeting his wife, his meeting my husband, who really liked my male friend, but not his wife! We were never lovers nor did we "date", but people always thought we dated since we spent so much time together & were so close. It does happen! Couples can play cards, board games, pictionary, all sorts of stuff. Or ride bikes, jog, roller/ice skate, go to games together, even sit in the same room, reading, chatting. Whatever you have fun doing, that's what a couple can do. Love of animals, go horse back riding, or to a Zoo, a wild life park, gardening, it's practically limitless of things to do as a couple. Pet sit for each other. Go to flea markets, share a collection of something.

I will quit here, for you probably are tired of my writings. Good luck with your other half of the couple! Have lots of fun! Enjoy each other's company. :-) Hope yours will last as long as mine has. :-)

i think couples should do things together as well as apart...even tho ur a couple you are still individuals and should have separate lives and do things alone or with ur friends. dont think couples have to be glued to each other...

Well you could just hang out, watch TV.

Go out to eat (like at subway) but nothing Fancy.

just do what you would do with your friends.
