Yes, I believe in God. Why? I was a drug addict, and quite a mess, He changed my life. He is alive and well, working in my heart and changing me all the time. Some things we can believe in and not see, God is Spirit the Scriptures say, and all that believe in Him will worship Him in Spirit.
Life with God is a great one! He doesn't take away troubles, He is with us through them, He doesn't give us everything, He gives us what is best. He doesn't solve all of our problems, He councils us on how to work them thru. It is soooo nice to not be such a mess! I'm still a little mess, but not a big one any more! He lives, and He loves all that He has made.........

Hi! While I don't see "God" himself - I see God all around me.
He has created this world and the stars and planets, the four seasons, you and I; He inspired men to write 66 books of the Bible; He wrote it for us to know Him and live by; He changes lives; I feel His love and am guided by His spirit.
Believing God is a matter of Faith - and even that is a Gift from Him.
I can't see electricity - but when I walk into a dark room and flip the switch - light happens. I have faith that it will - even though I can't see it or understand it!

Yes... because I was persuaded. King Agrippa told Paul "I am nearly persuaded" (Acts 26:24-32) I was fully persuaded.
I am thinking that you mean since I have not seen God then how can I believe God. In the same way I know love exists. The evidence isn't just in the "seeing" of it because of course, no-one can "see" love. But I certainly know I am loved and I know love exists because of experiential knowledge.

Everyone has a void which nothing else can fill. Not big houses, or posh cars, lots of money, drugs, alcohol, etc etc.
We were created by God, for God - to have a relationship with Him. This relationship is made possible through the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave His life and took the punishment on the cross which we deserved.
It is by faith we are saved, through faith, not of works lest any man should boast.
Seek the Lord while He may be found
Call on Him while He is near.

I do believe in God. I have never seen Him but He lives in my heart. By faith we believe. If you ever accept Him then you will know why we all believe. I loved my children the moment I found out I was pregnant, I didn't see them but I knew they were inside me and loved them. When you was a child you had faith that your parents would supply you with the things that you needed you didn't see you just knew.

Blessed are those who believe and yet do not see.
These are the words of Christ to Thomas after the Resurrection.
For people who believe in God, no explanation is necessary.
For people who don't believe in God, no explanation is possible.

Wow, I'm really sounding like a broken record tonight, but here goes: the reason why I believe what I believe is found on my blog entry on my 360 page. It's too long to cut and paste here, but if you are really interested then there you go.
Oh and just to blow your argument out of the water, have you ever seen gravity? No? Then how can you possibility believe in it??

I don't have to see him to believe in him! I feel him! I talk to him and the answer is felt in my heart! He gives me strength! He gives me courage! When I fall he lifts me up! I can't understand why it upsets some people what I believe in! This is my life I am living and not yours or anyone else! I'll believe what I want to believe! I am happy that my God gives me peace of mind, body and spirit!
