The only type of diabetes that can be "cured" per se is gestational diabetes. It develops during pregnancy and often goes away after birth. However, it leaves women much more likely to develop type 2 diabetes later in life.
Type 1 and Type 2 cannot be cured. Both can be controlled. Type 1 can be controlled with regular insulin shots, diet, exercise and healthy lifestyle.Type 2 can usually be controlled with diet, exercise and a healthy lifestyle...but some Type 2 need oral meds and on occasion, insulin.
You cannot take insulin by mouth. There has been developments on an inhaled insulin. That doesn't really matter to me. I've been taking insulin for so long that it's routine. The shots don't hurt.
Type 1 is formerly known as Juvenile Diabetes. It typically came about in the childhood or teen years. It CAN develop in the adult years, although this is rare. It's now called Type 1, or insulin dependent ( I got diabetes when I was 26...and have been Type 1 since the day I was diagnosed...I'm 37 now. My diabetes is the result of a traumatic abdominal injury from which my pancreas didn't survive).
Type 2 is formerly known as Adult-Onset Diabetes. It usually occured in mid-to late adulthood, often brought about by being overweight and leading a sedentary lifestyle. It's sad to say that more younger children are getting Type 2 because of weight control issues and not being physically active. In other words, kids need to get away from their Nintendos and computers and go out and play. Lay off the chips and cookies and ice cream smoothies. Type 2 has a strong genetic tendency. It does run in families. Type 1 does not. It strikes without warning.
I hope you find this information useful. You can visit the American Diabetes Association website for more information.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

there are different kind of diabetes, if i may say...
theres gestational diabetes, non insulin dependent diabetes mellitus, and insulin dependent diabetes mellitus, and others...
going back to your question, there are no studies yet that resolves the question that with just taking pills you'll be cured of diabetes, but there are some pills that claims that they reduce the instances of attacks of the symptoms of diabetes...
you'll get healthy, but you will not be cured of diabetes...

Yes, especially if you lose weight and increase exercise and maintain the exercise. Exercise naturally lowers high blood sugar.
