I was watching something on I believe it was the Discovery Channel tonight about the Miracles of Jesus Christ. They had no way to explain how these where done. Who here thinks that these miracles were infact a miracle of our savior or the works of a magician. Which one of you believe in Christ?

No stupid answers please!

I know personally that Jesus can and did make the deaf hear and the lame walk...the Bible says that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (that goes for healing miracles as well) and I was healed!! My hearing was 50% gone in one ear and the doctors said I needed tubes immediately...no tubes, just prayer, and my hearing was healed...100% in both ears. Also I had one leg shorter than the other...again no doctor intervention (not that they could have done anything for me) when being prayed for I felt my leg grow out...thank you Jesus for being the same yesterday, today, and forever and for healing me!! No one CAN EVER tell me that those situations were fake or anything OTHER THAN A MIRACLE.

Guess I fall into the category of believer.

I've attended public school all my life (at least k-12 plus some college). I took high school physics, so I have a basic idea of how the physical world works. I took high school biology and Biology 101 in college, so I understand the theory of evolution (not that I believe it, but I understand what propnents are speculating).

But at the same time, I am also very sure that there are laws of nature and physics that we don't understand or know about. Because Jesus was able to tap into the omniscience of God, He was able to perform those acts that people had (and still don't have) any explanation for.

I believe in miracles- wonderous things that happen with no rational explanation. I believe they happen all the time, right under our noses. We're just too busy to notice them.

I am a Christian and have no reason to doubt that the acts performed by Christ were miracles. I am not aware of any writings that can be historically proven either of anyone else being able to do the same things by trickery.

I believe in Jesus Christ and his miracles. His miracles were only evidence to prove that he was telling the truth of who he is. That's why he did not perform any miracles during his crucifixion.

He only performed the most precious miracles for those who believed in him. Being who he is he could have done everything that was asked of him after he was condemned to die but to show his strength and to fulfill his destiny, he did not.

Jesus (peace be upon him) did perform miracles, by God's will. I know it sounds far-fetched, because we can't imagine that, but God has the power to do all things, and I guess as humans we need signs, so those were signs for the people who saw those miracles with their own eyes (and all of us). Otherwise, maybe they wouldn't believe in God's message.

Jesus was both human and DIVINE and therefore I have a firm belief in the fact that it was the miracles of Jesus Christ!

I'll pick option #3: I think they are stories, i.e. neither the works of a divine being, nor the works of a magician.

Remember... don't believe everything you see on television!

It was the works of God as the Father gave Jesus the all power and authority on Earth to do as he willed him to do
Jesus said I do always the will of the Father
as the Father has sent me so I send you

Jesus was able to perform miracles thru the divine power of his Father Jehovah God.

I believe that Jesus did miracles and that He is still doing them today! I bear witness that He has miraculously changed my life. He took me from a life of hopelessness, depression, and I was bound by my addictions. He has brought me joy, peace, and power! I also testify that He has cured and brought eternal life to millions and to all those who have received Him as their Lord and Savior.
