Guy finds a bottle on the beach. He rubs it and a genie appears and says "you have one wish that I'll grant!". The guy thinks hard and long and finally says, "I wish for a road from California to Hawaii, so I can drive there any time I want." Genie says, "Thats waaay over the top, there is no possible way I could ever grant a wish like that. So make another wish." The guy thinks hard and long again and then says, "OK, how can I ever understand the mind of a female?" The genie responds, "Will that be 2 lanes or 4?

It could be a matter of timing. The guy could have asked her out before you did. She could be open about going on dates with men that's she's interested with. Because only with dating, she'll get to know the person further. Date her, if you want the both of you to know each other better. And if she has committed herself to that guy, then stand back, stay cool. At least you tried to do your part instead of banging your head on the wall for not asking her out & all that.

Well she flirted and you didnt do anything about it so either she moved on or shes trying to make you jealous. Dont just jump in and ruin their relationship, just talk to her sometime and see whats going on and tell her how you feel. If she did move on, then you should to but if its all a jealousy game then find out so you two can go out.

I have actually been in this exact position, except I was the girl who seemed to lead the guy on.
The reason I dated the new guy was to make the real guy I liked jealous, plus I was mis-lead by one of his closest friends that he didn't like me. My advice: lokk closer at what your friends say, it could be the reson she is being distant.
Let her know how you feel anyway, what do you have to loose?

There are girls who are players, they go out with someone, but like you said, lead them to believe they like everybody else. I would say that even though it is hard sometimes if you really like someone, get over her. Let her play her games but she isn't ever going to cool down. Get someone else that when you have her won't cheat on you.

Let it cool down. She may like you more but didnt realize until after she got in a relationship with that other guy.

Leave her alone, You said she was going out with another guy so I don't know what you thing you'll gain by asking her out. I think this was miscommunication, guys, (in my expireence,) don't seem to understand the concept of being frends with a girl, thay always think we want more out of the relationship.

i know, right- i'm a girl and i hate it when i see other girls do that-
but then, you don't know what might be going on inside this girl's head-
for instance, i'm single- and i'm flirting with a lot of ppl right now- one of them might seceretly really like me, but i don't know that, and so i don't say anything to them and then i go flirt with other guys and make them upset, but see the thing is-
girls wont know how u feel about them untill you tell them. so maybe she didnt realize she was leading you on, and now she thinks she's just harmlessly flirting with someone-

or maybe shes a *****, i don't know her, you do-

but anyway- you should talk to her-
unless of course, she IS a *****- then you just let it go and find someone cool ,yeah?

~My bet is that she liked you, but likes the other guy better.
~Thinks she seems important because she has TWO guys who like her.
~Maybe you could find someone better and move on.
~Too much of a nice guy.
----I would wait for them to cool down and seem if anything SERIOUS develops between them. If not, go for it Kyle!(or not, you're decision!)
Good luck=)
