Well let me first tell you what you are missing...Ahhhh a big juicy steak Oh sorry im drooling....... Well theres super stuffing2 1/4 cups veggie stock
1/4 cup wild rice
4 tablespoons butter
2 cups fresh sliced mushrooms
2 cups diced celery
1 cup chopped onion
4 cups corn bread stuffing mix
1 tablespoon poultry seasoning In a medium sized saucepan combine the veggie stock and the wild rice. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and let simmer until rice is tender.
In a large skillet melt the butter. Add the mushrooms, celery and onion. Cook until the vegetables are soft.
In a large bowl mix the cornbread stuffing and poultry seasoning. Add the rice and the vegetables and mix well. eat on its own. More veggie stock can be added if stuffing is dry. and theres acorn squash... 1 medium acorn squash, halved and seeded
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Turn acorn squash upside down onto a cookie sheet. Bake in a 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) oven until it begins to soften, approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
Remove squash from the oven and turn onto a plate so that the flesh is facing upwards. Place butter and brown sugar into the squash, and place remaining squash over the other piece. Place squash in a baking dish (so the squash wont slide around too much) while baking.
Place squash in the 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) oven and bake another 30 these recipies are both for two....Good luck!!!

First, if you are a vegatarian, how comes you dont know what to eat? Surely that is why you became vegy?
Anyway, the first answer is WRONG- vegys DO eat dairy.
Vegetarians do not eat meat or fish, so that includes bacon, chicken etc, etc, and any products that contain animal fat such as haribo.
If you are a pescetarian then you eat fish but NOT meat,
If you are a vegan you eat no meat, or fish, or dairy, or eggs (any product that comes form an animal)
So in answer to your question- what DO vegys eat, is everything except meat and fish!eggs, rolls, salad, vegetables, fruit, nuts, cakes, rice, pasta, toast, pies, cheesecake, sweets, popcorn, etc etc etc!!!
You can eat anything, just check the packaging that is says suiteble for vegetarians!

It depends on what type of veg - some vegetarians can eat eggs, and limited dairy product some do not - for substitutions for the proteins and fats from dairy and meat - you can eat combinations such as corn and rice, beans and rice, plus soya products - eat more green leafy vegetables than you normally would eat with a meat rich diet - to add iron - seaweed for iodine and iron drink avoid caffeinated products when you eat -they reduce iron and key mineral absorption

you can eat anything that is not meat, poultry, or fish. Enjoy all of the things you used to, and add in whole grains, such as quinoa and beans for protein. Try veggies you have never tried before. Watch for hidden sources of animal products, such as beef tallow in fast food french fries.

go to a library! order the teenagers guide to vegetarianism. it's abso' fab'. search on google for "vegetarian recipies"
there is one rule of vegetarianism "dont eat meat!"
there are all sorts of vegetarians, som e take this rule further- not only fdo they not eat meat, they dont eat fish or shell food either (like myself).
some vegetairans dont eat fish, meat, dairy or egg. dairy and egg are known as "animal bi-products" because of the lengths people go to, to fill tescos' shelves with milk (although this is from an american webby>)http://www.peta.org/mc/factsheet_display.asp?ID=98
you could go even further! geletin! this is made using bolied animals bones, tusks, horns etc. and is used to make jelly or jellied products like jam. but! nearly EVERYthing now-a-days has replaced geletin with "pectin"- it does the job of geletin but it's comes from plants- you can even buy petcin jellies (if you feel like making a triffle or just jelly). The ingrediants list will tell you.
Calves stomach linings are put in cheese to make it set. however, soft cheeses and edam (the one with the rew waxy peel) do not contain rennet.
*siiigh* so it's all in how far youre willing to go to save lives.

Everytime i pass a field full of animals, i cant think of anything apart from my BBQ & then my mouth starts watering & i get home & grab a lump of cow or something out of my fridge, cook it up & scoff it down. Forget being veggie or vegan, you'll get no prizes for standing in the pub & shouting " hey everyone i dont eat animals " you'll probably get a kicking & thrown out + all the vegetable heads that i know of look ill & pale............... EAT ANIMALS, THAT'S WHAT THEY ARE THERE FOR

Surely you know! Why would you classify yourself as vegetarian otherwise?
You can eat vegetables & fruits of any variety, pulses, milk, cheese, eggs, nuts, pastas & rice.
