Wasnt Alton Brown supposed to host the awards? Now I see it is Emmerill--what happened?

I was seeing the ads for about a month or two and always was Emeril the host.

According to the commercials, Alton is hosting. Unless something happened...

I saw a commercial with Gaida, and also one for Alton. I think it will be the bunch of thouse big Food Network stars hosting, not just one. Makes sense to me.

I noticed that too... guess I won't be watching it them... Emeril rubs me the wrong the way for some reason and I am in love with Alton...ha ha !!

If they did indeed make that change, then it is probably because Emeril is more "marketable"
