Having multiple sex partners doesn't cause STDs, but it certainly increases a persons chance of contracting an STD.

Theoretically if a person only sleeps with one or two people they have a less chance of contracting an STD compared to a person who has slept with 100 people. This isn't ALWAYS true though. Some people only sleep with one or two people and contract an STD, while other people have slept with over 100 people and have never contracted an STD.

I contracted two incurable STDs at the age of 17. I was with my ex for 4 years (he didn't have any STDs). We broke up and I had sex with the second guy I had ever slept with. I had sex with him ONE time and contracted two STDs from it. So, it really doesn't matter how many people you sleep with. If a person chooses to have sex there is ALWAYS going to be a chance they will contract a STD, whether they sleep with 2 people or 100 people.

The only thing that is 100% effective in preventing STDs (and pregnancy for that matter) is abstinence.

It's simple if for example an infected teen sleeps with seven partners, and each one sleep with seven more we get 56 persons infected by the first one and those will keep infecting other.

Did you got the idea? Every time you sleep with someone, you are indirectly sleeping with everyone that person sleep before you.

And by the way condoms are not 100% effective against STDs, some STDs can be passed even if the person uses a condom. Also condoms can't protect males or females that do oral sex.

You can not get STDs from someone who does not have any STDs. That said, just because he SAYS the girls are "clean", does not mean they are. Has he ever said anything about being tested himself? Remember, many STDs have no symptoms for a long time. The fact that he has had unprotected sex with multiple partners is a huge red flag. Get tested, and insist that he use protection. If he refuses, don't have sex with him. Protect yourself.

when you are sexually active body fluids are exchanged like semen and vaginal secretions, either way wether your teen agers or adults it doesn't matter when you start having sex, the main thing is people are not always honest, and use pretection therefore, thtas how aids, and other deadly diseases are passed becuase sexually transmitted deseaes's do not live outside of the body there fore they can only be passed through body fluids, which in turn means sex of any type, oral, anal, or vaginal . they are spread by both males and females, now, there are alot of different types for ex: herpies, - theres no cure for it!, gonereaha, clamidia, siphills, trichomones, HIV-AIDs, pubic lice , hmm these are just to name a few , some can be cured others can't the best way to aovid them is to not engage in unprotected sex use a condom but even thats not 100% efective, the only true safe way is to avoid sex until you find the right perosn and make them get tested!!!! and dont put up with the excuses that they give you!!! hope this helps!!! if your still not sure or understand ask a close friend or osme one you trust like an aunt or uncle or mom dad, older brotehr or sis !!! better to be safe then sorry!!

It boils down to this-----

Every time you have unprotected sex, you are in essence having unprotected sex with all your partner's partners before you.
Take this example - Say your boyfriend has had 5 partners before you and number one had HIV- but didn't know it, number two and three were ok, number four had hepatitis B- but didn't know it yet, and number five had HPV. At least he says it was five, maybe he lies. He doesn't really like the feel of a condom, maybe it fell off or maybe it even breaks.
Results - Anyone after his partner number one has HIV and exposes all their partners. Anyone after partner four has HIV and HepB and exposes all their partners. Anyone after partner five has HIV, HepB and HPV plus exposes all their partners.
In a weak moment, you are deep in passion and no condom available. He says he loves you. You have sex. You now have all of the above STDs.

You cannot tell who is sick and who is well just by looking at them. You also cannot trust all people. People lie especially when it comes to sex. It can take months or even years for some of these disease symptoms to be bad enough to be diagnosed. In the meantime..... more are exposed.
Epidemic time!

The best prevention - get the facts, if you choose to be sexually active - know how to use a condom, be prepared and use them.

Multiple partners doesn't cause STDs, but it makes your chances of catching STDs much higher. To catch an STD you have to have sex with someone who is infected, so the more people you have sex with the more chance one of them will be infected and spread it to you!

Having multiple partners will not cause STD if you practice safe sex. That is, use a condom.
The bacteria or virus that cause STD are transmitted via exchange of body fluid (semen, saliva and vaginal secretion). Herpes can be transmitted by close skin contact, so beware.
