In a Harvard Study conducted in 1998. There were four groups of rats tested based on diet. It was immediately apparent that the different diets had different effects on behavior in the four groups. The rats receiving natural food and clean water remained attentive and alert. The rats receiving natural food and hotdogs became violent and fought aggressively. The third group of rats subsisting on products containing sugarcoated cereal and fruit punch was nervous, hyperactive and behaved aimlessly. The fourth group subsisting on doughnuts and cola were unable to function as a social unit. They were fearful and had trouble sleeping. When you look at this study it is no surprise that we can solve at lest 75% of our behavior by simply going to a vegetarian diet.

Not sure what you mean by a "natural diet", rats are omnivores.
Howrever, I notice that the rats with problems all ate stuff with large amounts of sugar & other chemical additives in them. (check the label on a hotdog tin, it's not just meat) If you gave a rat a diet of honey, fat, oats & water, I imagine it would go wierd.

It disturbs me to read of rats being used this way as I have 3 pet rats.

However it raises interesting questions.I am already on a healthy vegan diet but it might explain a few of the weird people I know.

Surely the question is, "what does a rat choose to eat for itself". Rats are naturally omnivores, like humans and will eat most things we do (which is why they are highly successful and considered pests). The real question is what should the balance be between meat and other sources of protein and energy giving foods.

I quite have achieved my learn... there are particular proteins we in basic terms get from eating meat. they might't additionally be synthesized. How is meat a contributor to international starvation? you are trying to take meat away... so which you're a contributor to international starvation. Ever seen a place the place there is an overpopulation of animals? countless illnesses circulate around... no longer in basic terms between the animals, yet additionally people. lack of expertise is bliss - you'll be orgasmic.
