I am 11 3/4 (today) and I have been a veggie since I was about 10, and now I am working on becoming Vegan. I do drink soy milk(personly I reccomend chocolate), still trying to not eat cheese. Nobody in my family is a veggie, all the men in my family hunt which I think is just wrong.

It would also be great to know someone's heritage and religion ..since some nationalities would do it for religious reason..others because of circumstance ..But sorry this is your question .....LOL.... I am Italian heritage.. 50 vegetarian at 15 ..vegan at 25 never looked back and couldn't be happier..have 2 sons 30 and 24 vegan since birth ..my grandson 2 1/2 vegan ..2 sisters 57 and 48 vegan for 20 years .. PS ..people never think I am 50 so even though I do it for moral reasons... the fringe benefits are great .. ..my space .. http://www.myspace.com/ccbasile ... think about what YOU will look like in 20 or so years and how you will feel ..last my guy is a vegetarian wouldn't have it any other way ..he is 52 and looks great ..

I'm 17 and veggie - have been since I was 7.

It's mostly only people whose parents believe in veggieism that are veggies from birth. It's been hard for me in a meat eating family (I'm the only one!)

The oldest veggie I know....46 ish (I think - its not exactly polite to ask a lady her age!)

Have fun!

16 but I've been a vegetarian since I was 8. I'm the only one in my family that is. Meat just doesn't feel right to me. It's not that i'm an animal activist...meat just doesn't taste good!
