I live in Delaware county, PA and am looking for the most economical place to buy meat. I am having a large party and need 50 lbs of ham and TONS of ground beef. Any suggestion?

I hear there are some places in Lancaster Cnty if you feel like taking a ride to one of the local markets out there. Otherwise, try BJ's or Sam's Club. Or, if you are close enough, take a ride into South Philly and visit the Italian Market. Or, talk to your local butcher. Since you have such a large order, he might give you a discount and put in a special order for you while he's placing his next wholesale purchase.

Drive down a highway like route 30 or the PA Tpk. You'll find a deer or maybe a raccoon or two. I think they are free for the taking.

And I'd hate to be one of your guests, if your criteria for feeding them is to get "Cheap Meat". Mmmmm. Yummm.
