I get heart palpitations. I have what is called Mytral Valve Regurgitation. It is when the blood pumps into your like normal mine spits half it back out. It is not life threatening as of yet. Most women get palpitations and it is fine and nothing is wrong. Stress can do that also. Eat right and at least take walks for exercise. You really don't need to do strenuous exercise to be in shape. If you are concerned with it go to the doctor and get it checked. I had an ultrasound done on my heart. Painless and fast. I have heart problems that run in my family, check with people in your family if there are any problems. It could also be a prolapse in the valve. My sister has that. If the palpitations become to much they have medicine to help it. I don't take anything for mine, just watching my diet and walking when I can. Hope this helps.
