My nearest Sainsbury's sells both their own-brand dark chocolate easter egg (with dark chocolate discs) (about £5.99) AND Kinnerton brand NUT-FREE dark chocolate easter egg with "jelly sweets" (£1.99, though only 90g in total), both suitable for vegans.

Also most health shops sell whizzers, mini chocolate eggs in a crunchy shell, usually about 70p a pack, you could add some of these to a plainer egg to make it more appealing to children. These are very nice and are usually stocked (and bought) all year round.

Somethings wrong here. Vegans don't eat eggs - then surely they can't give their kids Easter eggs.
It's like vegetarians eating vegetarian bacon 'flavoured' crisps.
Either you are or you aren't. Never yet heard a Muslim or a Jew demand non-pork pork scratchings, or a Hindu asking for a cow-free t-bone steak!
