you have discharge so you probably have a bacterial or fungal infection. the odor is very indicative of either one. you have to see a doctor.
it could also be trichomas vaginalis. not something that too worrisome.
you will have to pee in a cup and they will have to swab you. these are the only ways to find out what you have.
herpes infections will show up as sores. they will be painful but they should not smell if the sores are not also contaminated with fungi and or bacteria.
oh, and your partner will have to be tested too (if he wants) because he might have an asymptomatic infection

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
https://bitly.im/aMEU9
Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

It sounds like yeast, or bacterial, or fungal vaginitis. You need to be seen by a gynecologist, or even your family doctor. yeast has more of a doughy smell, the others are a foul smell, left untreated you could end up with a uterine infection causing extreme pain and the possibility that you may never have children. This is serious. Being sexually active you should also be getting anual pap smear and pelvic exams to check for cervical cancer. Cervical cancer can be caused by a viral STD called HPV or genital warts. You don't always know when you have warts, they can be fast or slow growing depending on the strain growing. I don't want to scare you but you really need to see a doctor.

at first it sounds like a yeast infection. the itches and discharge are a big sign of a yeast infection. but the bumps and scratches got me. some people get lesions or scratch like symptoms. and a watery discharge from having herpes. other signs of herpes are flu like symptoms lower backache pain in back of legs(like you had a leg workout) and very painful genital area. though the scratches could be from you scratching yourself. I know you don't want to do it but you really need to go to a Dr. either way you have to get treated. if you don't, the infection will get worse. a yeast infection is easily treated. they have a pill called Diflucian that you can take. it's just one small pill and BOOM yeast is gone. they can give it to your man to. if it is herpes, they can treat you with Valtrex and a cream to help speed up the symptoms. there is no cure for herpes but there is medication that can help. Good luck to you and your BF.

I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. I have been with the same man for the past 10 years and within the last year found out that he has cheated on me with numerous women. I am so scared that I can give it to my children by kissing them and them eating with me...I feel like my whole life has changed. And even though the nurses, my doctor, and websites say that a lot of people have it I still feel like I am by myself. My self esteem has dropped and I feel like I have been used up. But now, My life is very happy.

Sounds like yeast infection.Way back in 1971 ,I
got a yeast infection from my wife. We both got treatment and have to abstain from sex for 3 months until it was permantently gone. We went to her doctor ,and her doctor confirmed it was a yeast infection and is still very common to get it and cure it too.Always remember When in doubt, let a doctor check it out.

It sounds like a yeast infection. Try Monastat or any other over the counter yeast medication. If it doesn´t go away after a few days you´ll have to go to a doctor. Your partner will have to be treated as well or he could pass the yeast back to you.

It sounds more like candida, yeast, which itches terribly.
Herpes is terribly painful, the blisters leak a transparent fluid and the area is so sore you can hardly walk, or sit down. You should visit your mum's gynaecologist because you need treatment whichever it is. But I bet it is yeast.
