It could be a heart problem of course anytime you are unsure you need to go to a doctor and get blood work and an ecg workup. If it's not the case then you need to start taking Non steroidal anti inflamitory drugs like 800mg of Motrin it will help with any inflamation of the joints and cartilage.

It's always best to be checked out for heart problem. Women present different symptoms than men. I know because I have a heart condition and was not experiencing any of the so called norm My arm would hurt lol both but no chest pain, did experience jaw and neck pain, very short of breath.
That would be one less thing to fret about as you know you have arthritis bad. Good health to you

I work with cardiologists and yesterday he told a patient that usually true chest pain presents itself as a pressure in the front of the chest and not usually in the back or the arms. If you still have your gall bladder, right shoulder pain is sometimes related to gall bladder attack. Left arm pain could be heart related, but usually is referred from another pain. If the pain is persistent, go see your doc. He would know better than all of us. I hope this helps you.

If you are concerned you should go to the ER. If this is your only symptom it probably isn't a heart attack but it is wise to be cautious
