thanks to all those people who gave me good advice i did go open a checking account and i'm getting 2 credit cards coming in 4-7 days thankyou very much

NO... you don't need a checking account to get a credit card. All that really matters is your credit score.

Do you already have some established credit? If not, you'll have to settle for a credit card designed for people with poor / no credit. These cards tend to have higher interest rates and fees when compared to standard credit cards, but they'll allow you to prove your creditworthiness and help build your credit. Eventually-- with regular, on-time payments you'll be able to apply for better offers with lower APR's and less fees.

Of course, if you already have GOOD CREDIT... you can apply for almost any credit card you want!

Yes, it is mandatory to have a checking account to get a credit card. Otherwise it is impossible.

Yes you do I have tryed myself to get one but you do need a checking account or they won,t give let you have one so all the best good luck

no you just need an income but it is better to get credit cards through your bank .

not at all. you dont even need good credit anymore. but the risk and payment is not worth the up front funds
