Even if the chilli powder that you use is pure chilli, there will be deterioration in the food value of the chillies, certainly.

Caution: many commercial chilli powders include other spices, such as cumin or fillers such as salt. Check the label to be sure your chilli powder is 100% pure chillies.

I think if you used real chilis, you get the fiber and other nutrients from the chilis rather than just the flavoring the chili powder provides....what i would do is add both!

no nothing has the same effect as the real thing but it is quicker and more efficent for a family enviorment and a working family.

Chili powder is just ground up chili's, so yes.
