i get gential warts. im i going to be in pain. she said that i need to keep coming backing so that i cant get checked to see if it is spreading even further and she also wants me to get the vaccine ghardisil i believe thats how you spell it. can someone help me im so scared about this. this is my first time having something like this i dont know what to do.

Same thing here I'm also at risk I had it bout maybe 6 months ago and as long as you keep going back and get your pap smear done every six months you should be fine. I also had a colposcopy and it's not painful at all just uncomfortable.

Yes you can have kids. I had the HPV virus, and now I'm pregnant. HPV can be treated. It's not like herpes, that will stick with you the rest of your life. It was not painful for me at all. They treated it at one appointment with a freezing process, and then I had to have a pap smear every 3 months until I have 4 normal ones. Then I got to go back to the once a year.

Of course you can have kids. it might be a good idea to get a 2nd opinion, just in case. A lot of doctors get kickbacks and such from vaccine/ pharmaceutical companies so they heavily promote their products to anyone who is even on the fence of having it.

dont be worried...I had an hpv scare...but all you need to do is get your regualr paps...and you should get the vaccine...just remember that you can live with warts and hpv...you just need to not panic and take care of your health

yes u can def have kids. This should not prevent you ina ny way from having kids. Be careful and do your regular check ups and yu'll be fine.

you surely can have kids. hpv attacks your privates and the cervix in women. it doesn't bother the uterus at all. the only thing that it may affect is how you deliver.
